The Cush4Christ mission cannot do its ministry without financial partners. We invite you to not only pray for this mission fervently but to also give generously. Please join us in our efforts to bring gospel transformation to South Sudan!
SPECIAL PROJECTS Opportunities to help in 2012!
1) Christian Education
Seeing a great need to assist Christian parents in raising their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, Cush4Christ is seeking to begin a Christian school in its home community of Parot. Three teachers are currently being trained in the philosophy of Christian education. These teachers will then mobilize the community and open the school, starting in April 2012 with Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2.
*Budget for 2012: $ 2,000 (teacher training, school materials, etc.)
2) Expansion of Crossroads Training Center / Wëër Bei FM Facilities
Crossroads Training Center and Wëër Bei FM presently share one building. Due to space and sound needs, plans are underway to expand the facilities and separate Crossroads Training Center from Wëër Bei FM. The present building will be remodeled to add two new recording studios for Wëër Bei FM. A new building with multiple classrooms will be built to house Crossroads Training Center. This building will also serve to accommodate the Parot Christian school during the months that training is not in session.
*Budget for 2012 (special project):
- Crossroads Training Center: $50,000 (multi-purpose building, solar power, chairs/desks, etc.)
- Weer Bei FM: $7,000 (2 new studios, recording equipment, additional solar power, etc.)
3) Wëër Bei FM Operational Costs for 2012
Cush4Christ is seeking a long-term funding source for Wëër Bei FM. In the meantime, the ongoing operational costs of the radio station will again be covered by the RP Global Mission board for 2012. We are asking God’s people to pray that a long-term funding source will be secured.
*Budget for 2012: $ 21,000 (salaries, fuel, equipment depreciation, etc.)
4) Ongoing Training: Curriculum Development
Presently Cush4Christ has a 2-year curriculum that equips a man to plant a healthy, gospel-centered church. In an effort to provide continuing education for the church planters, the mission is working with former team leader, Pastor Andrew Stringer, to develop the next level of training. See Appendix A for more information.
*Budget for 2012: $10,000
